Getting Involved

We welcome the support of parents and carers in the classroom to help with reading, times tables, school trips and your child’s class teacher will have other ideas on how you can help.

If you wish to help at school, you will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Services Check (formally a Criminal Records Bureau Check) and complete the Volunteer Application Form.

Before starting to volunteer in the school you will be given a copy of our Safeguarding and Child Protection Information for Staff, Volunteers and Visitors Leaflet which gives you advice and guidance on working with the children and child protection. You will also be invited to attend a volunteers training session at the beginning of the academic year.
